What this site collects
- No accounts, no lead forms, no email lists. We do not ask for your name, address, or phone number to use the site.
- The risk check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers about your home are processed on your device and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
- Contact email. If you email [email protected], we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use it to respond, handle corrections, and protect the site from abuse.
- One preference, stored locally. If you switch light/dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and you can clear it anytime.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookie-free service. It gives us aggregate counts such as page views, countries, referrers, device categories, browser categories, and performance signals. We do not use it to build advertising profiles or identify individual visitors.
Hosting, security, and email protection
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and proxied through Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security events to deliver the site, apply redirects and security rules, and protect against abuse.
We do not set our own cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies if security or bot-protection features require them. Cloudflare may also obfuscate email addresses on the page by rewriting the address and adding a small same-origin decode script; this reduces spam scraping and does not send your risk-check answers anywhere.
Affiliate links
Some product links are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer's site may set its own cookies to attribute the sale; that happens under the retailer's privacy policy, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure.
Advertising
If we introduce display advertising in the future, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. This policy will be updated before any ads appear.
Your rights
We do not run accounts or maintain a user database. If you emailed us and want your message corrected or deleted, email [email protected]. Aggregate analytics and Cloudflare security logs may not be tied to a named account we control.
